Her Story
Danielle was bit by the theatre bug in high school, but decided to pursue music when she went to college. A proud second violinist in UNC’s Symphony Orchestra, she didn’t think about acting until she was writing her dissertation and needed a creative outlet. Danielle dabbled in community theatre while finishing her PhD in English Literature and her passion for acting was reignited. Upon moving to Washington, DC in 2019, she quickly enrolled in some acting classes and as a member of the 2020 Theatre Lab Honors Conservatory cohort, which would eventually lead her to leave academia and pursue professional acting. She has trained with some of the best DC area artists in theatre, film, voice over, and stage combat. She also has continued to play the violin and is a member of Second String Orchestra.
